It’s been fun watching them flutter around the bird feeders in our yard, and the thing that’s most amazing to me is just how quickly the bird-word goes out: “Fresh suet in the walnut tree!” or “New sunflower seeds in the poplar!” or “Thistle seed right out of the bag!”
