This Loper.
Which is short for The Interloper
Loper showed up at our door the other day. He announced his arrival by meowing loud enough that we could hear him from two rooms away.
I opened the door to take a look and The Interloper marched right on inside as if he’d come in a hundred times before and had every right to be there.
I picked him up, and he greeted me with purrs and another meow that said, “Feed me!”
So we did.
I don’t know what his story is or where he came from, but The Interloper’s name was immediately shortened to Loper.
He’s found a place for a soft landing.
And he’s our cat now.
Best,
