Tonight I asked Rich what else he wanted to go with the meatballs and mashed potatoes, and he tossed me a bag of frozen peas and carrots.
Peas haven’t ever been my favorite vegetable, but as I looked the bowl setting on the table and then the peas and carrots on my plate, I was struck by how festive they are together.
