#ThisDaysJoy: Missing the road construction

There are two ways to get to the post office when we leave our driveway. Turn right and take the speedy, direct route, or turn left for a more picturesque drive on two-lane blacktop.
Our plan was to take the scenic route, but we quickly scrapped that idea when, up in the distance, we saw road work equipment and yellow flashing lights.
