I do what the directions say: carefully grease and flour the bundt cake pan. Then, though the directions don’t specify doing this, I cross my fingers and say a little prayer as I pour in the cake batter in the pan.
Because after the cake is baked and cooled for a bit, there’s always that moment of truth.
