Driving to town the other day, an unmistakeable bass line rhythm kicked in, led me around a swerving curve, and propelled me up a hill. As I hit the flat stretch of open road, Herb Alpert’s trumpet’s melody took center stage.
The road, the sun, the melody — it was magical!
